As CEO of STA Travel he oversaw the building of a retail & wholesale network in 90 countries with over 450 branches and a turnover of over US£$1.3 billion. He stepped out of the CEO role in July 2007 and remains a Director.

He has a broad portfolio of interests including equity holdings and non-executive positions. These interests include working within the venture capital community; with private start-ups and businesses in transition; as well as his own private investments and charity work.
