Jeffrey Young founded London-based research consultancy Allegra Strategies Limited
in September 1998.
Jeffrey holds a business degree in Finance and Economics and
an MBA (with Distinction) from the University of Houston. Jeffrey has worked within
research and strategy consulting for the past 12 years having managed an extensive
range of research projects within the retail, leisure and consumer lifestyle sectors
and plays a hands on role in Allegra’s consumer research teams. Key clients include:
Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Vodafone, British Telecom, Disney and Starbucks Coffee Company.
Prior to setting up Allegra Strategies, Jeffrey spent 3 years as a strategy consultant
with London-based Burlington Consultants and as a freelance consultant with Roland
Berger & Partners.
Jeffrey also holds directorships in recruitment firm, Maverick
Human Resources Limited and Australian Business.
Jeffrey is frequently invited to
feature on TV, BBC radio and in mainstream newsprint to provide commentary and analysis
on major UK retail trends.

Melissa Brown is Head of Marketing at Telstra International, EMEA, a leading global
provider of managed networked solutions. She is also a Director on the Board of
Australian Business following her management of the organisation from December 2005
until December 2008.
Melissa has been in commercial, sales and marketing roles for
over 20 years across the telecoms, travel and media industries working for companies
such as Thomas Cook, Continental Airlines and Australian Associated Press.

Jessica is Director of Corporate Partnerships at the British Olympic Association.
Jessica was the overall individual winner for The Challenge 2008 and is currently
a member on the Australian Business Board.

Sally is currently Chairman of Southern Ocean Shipping. Previous to this position
she was Non Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of Holidaybreak
Plc, and Senior Executive with Qantas Airway.
She was the first woman & youngest
executive ever appointed to the key role of General Manager UK/Ireland, Middle East
& Africa, based in London which she held from 1999 – 2004. Prior to joining Qantas,
Sally spent 16 years with Air New Zealand, in New Zealand, Australia and North America.
Sally is a Board member of Australia Business and a Committee Member of The Cook
Society. She is a former Board Member of Australia Business in Europe (ABIE) & the
Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the inaugural Australia
Day in the UK Committee & a Judge of the inaugural “Australian in the UK” Award.
Sally is married with one son. She holds dual British and Australian citizenship.
